our next wellness holiday in Sri Lanka.
In 2027 we are heading to this specially beautiful Buddhist country, where the peaceful atmosphere can make us feel like we arrived home, and where the coastal line is pristine and nature abundant. I have been dreaming of visiting Sri Lanka for while and now I am preparing a special moment there to share with you. In Sri Lanka we can find everything to have a memorable time recharging our batteries amongst swaying coconut trees by the coastline, immersing ourselves in a warm heartfelt culture, whilst delighting our taste buds with exquisite cuisine and being mesmerised by visiting animals at a safari in the middle of a national park.

What to Expect:

Beach Days: The breathtaking horseshoe bay is only two minutes away from where we will be staying. You will spend time chilling, going for walks, trying surfing, playing a game of batting ball or a having a nap by the sound of waves. Hirikiteya Bay is one of the Southern Province’s best surf breaks for beginner and advanced surfers and perfect to enjoy its warm waters and golden sand.

Culture: A visit to Unesco listed site in Galle holds the fort of a beautiful wall city. The Buddhist temples are a must see and Tea Plantations with take our breath away with it's scenic landscape.

Nature: The diversity of wildlife and vegetation around national parks and safaris creates the perfect immersive life time experience.

Daily movement: Practicing being on your body and feeling more comfortable, confident, stronger and flexible with non compulsory daily practices for all levels.

Great food: Our boutique hotel will have an onsite chef cooking 3 meals daily for us and catering to all food preferences.

Relaxation: The hotel is perfectly placed tucked amongst palm trees with far-reaching ocean views and has a natural rock pool for dips and sunbathing as much as you wish. A short stroll of 2 minutes down hill will take you to this warm golden sandy beach where you can chill and go surfing. Option to add massages and therapeutic treatments and SPA days will make it even more indulgent and relaxing.

Free time: You will have time to have a nap on your own open air spacious room with the sound of nature, join the group by the palm-fringed pool, watch sunrise and sunset at our rooftop yoga studio and stroll around the beach line to visit their cafes and experience the vibrant surf town of Hirikiteya.
The Program:

DAY 1 – WELCOME TO SRI LANKA
Arrival and airport pickup.
Transfer to our accommodation, settle into your room, meet the group and enjoy your first evening in paradise.

DAY 2 – BEACH DAY & RELAXATION
Start your holiday slowly with a day by the ocean.
Enjoy the beach, explore the local area, unwind and soak up the tropical atmosphere at your own pace.

DAY 3 – GALLE FORT & CULTURAL DISCOVERY
Visit the historic Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with charming streets, colonial architecture, local boutiques and stunning ocean views.
A perfect introduction to Sri Lanka's rich culture and history.

DAY 4 – SAFARI, TEA PLANTATION & TEMPLE VISIT
One of the most exciting days of the trip.
Experience Sri Lanka's incredible wildlife on safari, visit a beautiful tea plantation and discover the peaceful atmosphere of a local Buddhist temple.

DAY 5 – SPA & COOKING EXPERIENCE
Take time to slow down and recharge.
Enjoy a relaxing spa experience before learning how to prepare traditional Sri Lankan dishes in a fun and authentic cooking class.

DAY 6 – COCONUT TREE HILL & STILT FISHERMEN
Visit the famous Coconut Tree Hill viewpoint and discover one of Sri Lanka's most iconic coastal landscapes.
Later, experience the unique tradition of the stilt fishermen and capture unforgettable photographs along the coastline.

DAY 7 – BEACH & WELLNESS DAY
A final day to fully enjoy the beauty of Sri Lanka.
Relax by the beach, enjoy wellness activities, take in the scenery and celebrate the memories created throughout the week.

DAY 8 – FAREWELL & DEPARTURE
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for departure.
Leave feeling refreshed, inspired and full of unforgettable memories from your Sri Lankan adventure.

OUR ACCOMMODATION
Our accommodation is a charming boutique hotel gently tucked away amongst the swaying palm trees, only two minutes walking from the breathtaking bay of Hirikiteya with its warm, golden sand. From some of the open air rooms you can fall sleep to the lull of the ocean and from our rooftop terrace we can see the hotel's natural rock pool and watch the sunrise over the canopy of the palms. This rooftop studio offers the perfect vibe for our morning stretches and evening restorative moments.
MOVE EVERY DAY WITH BELA
We are going to be moving together daily, but you can also decide not join all classes too. I will be guiding classes to all levels of fitness and ages, so no previous experience is needed. We will have plenty of time to explore the principles and most beneficial aspects of both Yoga & Pilates, as my practices are a balance between Pilates strength + alignment movements and the Yoga breath, mobility and mindfulness. Our daily movement routines of exercises will make your body feel grounded, stronger, flexible and empowered so you can carry on moving with awareness even after your return home.
FOOD EXPERIENCE
Our hotel chef will cater for all dietary needs and offer three daily meals with fresh local ingredients for healthy, nourishing and delicious meals. As part of our cultural immersion, the chef will lead a workshop to teach us the secrets of Sri Lanka cuisine on a great exchange experience.

I am pleased you are here and that you have felt the calling to check out my next adventure. In the last 3 years I have been offering successful retreats in England, Brazil and now I am inviting you to join me in South Africa. I am an experienced and intuitive movement instructor, teaching many styles of fitness and mindful practices, like Yoga, Pilates, Barre & whole body fitness. I love bringing all knowledge in a fun, refreshing and dynamic way. In my retreats, we get to immerse ourselves with like-minded people in a place full of positive nurturing energy. There we make true connections and can experience some meaningful transformations.
WHY I CREATED THIS HOLIDAY
I created this holiday for you to come as you are and leave feeling more like your best self. You don't have to have experience with Yoga or Pilates to enjoy moving with me. You don't need to miss out on the fun of having a drink after a day out, as this is your holiday. You will have plenty of time to relax, catch up on your favourite read and talk to likeminded people, creating bonds and memories that will last you a really long time.
You will have a journey planned and done for you so you have nothing to worry about and be sure to see and do the nicest things during our time there.
